Counsellors
Staffcare’s extensive network of qualified and
experienced affiliated counsellors,  psychotherapists
and psychologists means that clients are able to access
counselling locally. All our affiliated counsellors
are qualified to at least diploma level and all have
undertaken additional post-qualifying training. This
means Staffcare can provide generic counselling, as
well as a range of specialisms including relationship
counselling, bereavement counselling, trauma support,
mediation and work with children or adolescents.
All counsellors are accredited with the Irish Association
for Counselling and Psychotherapy [IACP],
the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
[BACP],
the British Psychological Society [BPS],
or the Psychological Society of Ireland [PSI].
In Northern Ireland, a team of Staffcare supervisors
clinically supervises those counsellors working towards
their accreditation.
All Staffcare counsellors are individually selected
and subject to a rigorous recruitment process.
